The Labino MidBeam Light is part of a new generation of products that Labino is introducing to the market. These unique new lights have one common characteristic; they weigh less, than many comparable products in the market today. MidBeam in particular is a hａnd held lamp, extremely compact in size, with a housing diameter of just 3.15 inches (8 cm)! MidBeam is available as Battery or Mains. The mains operated model weighs just 440 grams (0.97 lbs) and the battery operated model weighs just 560 grams (1.23 lbs)! The light weight and compact size makes it extremely easy for the user to operate and carry around even the most difficult inspection areas and structures. This is made possible without compromising the performance of the lamp.
Each MidBeam consists of 4 LEDs offering a very broad and even beam. It is also equipped with a white light LED for after inspection. The start button provides instant power and the light is operated with a multifunctional switch – UV / OFF / White Light – on the handle for ease of use. It is easy for the battery version to switch batteries. The batteries are located inside the pistol handle, making the ergonomics of the unit stable. Four batteries are supplied with each unit and two are needed to operate. Batteries can be recharged from a normal electrical outlet or a vehicle cigarette lighter socket. The design of the mains version makes it easy to support the light with a common stａnd on a bench. The location of the cable (coming out from below the handle) makes it easy to operate.
The heat generated from the LEDs is managed via a mechanical cooling system – no fans necessary! MidBeam is free from UV-B and the lamp emits almost no visible light – 1 Lux / 0.09 Foot Candle (380-780 nm) – due to a visible light filter. It is compliant with ASTM UV-A intensity and wavelength specifications for FPI and MPI. IP43 approved for water spray and external bodies. MidBeam comes standard with a carrying case.
